Ours began with a question.

​

It wasn't asked in a boardroom.

It wasn't part of a business plan.

It was asked one day while looking for a traditional Swiss shirt for Swiss National Day.

 

The question was simple.

Why isn't Swiss heritage part of everyday life?

 

At the time, we didn't realise how much that question would change us.

 

Instead of finding an answer, we began a journey.

 

A journey through Switzerland.

Through museums and mountain villages.

Through traditions, craftsmanship and conversations.

 

The more we discovered, the more we realised that Switzerland possesses an extraordinary cultural heritage—one that deserves to remain part of everyday life, not only of museums or special occasions.

 

At the same time, another discovery was unfolding.

In Ukraine, we met artisans whose craftsmanship reflected the same patience, dedication and respect for tradition.

 

What began as the search for a shirt gradually became something much larger.

It became the meeting point of two countries, two cultures and countless conversations.

Looking back today, we realise that every step we took was quietly answering the same question.

 

Little by little, the answer became Tarcame.
